A whip crackingly good book

Mona Lisa's Secret by Phil Philips

What can I say about this book that hasn't already been said, except that it made me giggle in the references to my own childhood, in the shape of the American character MacGyver. It has all the sense of an Indiana Jones story, with the intrigue of James Bond novel at the same time. It is not one of my normal choices for a book to read but I absolutely loved it. It was gripping and exciting with lovely descriptions of the areas to which it is based. All fast paced so that it keeps you wrapped in the tale that is being told without lingering on the unnecessary. This is amazing book which is a must read.

I for once give it 5/5
